| This book is the story of a special project experience, born from the coming together of several creative forces and the synergy they generated. On the one hand a company, Valextra, a famous Milanese brand name internationally renowned for its top quality leathe and travel accessories, traditionally bound to design - which has marked its most successful products. On the other, the Associazione Disegno Industriale, ADI, ever a driving force in the promotion and propagation of Italian industrial design throu g hout the world. The company's intention to prganise an interinal "ideas workshop" was developed by the ADI and turned into a project that involved 13 young designers at their first professional experience, selected from the best candidates to emerge with a degree or diploma from the Association's member universities or design schools. This led to the ADI/Valextra Company Master. |
