| Some people hold the view that handicraft in the reproposition of traditional typologies, models and forms, possibly yet not necessarily, archived by means of traditional techniques and tools. Others believe that artistic handicraft be a question of unique, "hand made" pieces; therefore exactly the opposite of the industrial production, of the mass production concept: the world of industrial design . Conversely fifty years of Orlandi's story (in this volume recounted in a pretty articulate way through models, crafting techniques and products) testify to the existence of a different approach to contemporary interior design: "the craftmade approach to design". |
